PASTOR STEVE'S POPEYE PAGE

Popeye's Paramount/Famous Studios' cartoons were always my favorites while I was growing up.  This web page primarily deals with them, though other aspects of the sailor's long career are touched on.   I was practically weaned on Popeye cartoons, being born at about the time they were sold in syndication to TV stations across the country.  Certain scenes, musical scores, lines, and plots are firmly embedded in my mind and the best of the cartoons are still entertaining when viewed today.
