#19 QUICK ON THE VIGOR

	As Olive first notices strong man Bluto....
...her wide eyes, long lashes, and delighted open-mouthed astonishment make her look very attractive.
	Bluto says that his weakness is a pretty face, so naturally he falls for Olive Oyl in this cartoon.
As Olive sails across the sky in the runaway airplane ride, there are quick frames in which the creators have given her shapely legs.  Look fast to catch them.  (Or look at the still pictures on this page!)	.
	Bluto "saw" the pretty Olive and intends to get a kiss.
Olive purrs over strong men - like Popeye.  Too bad she can't be a professional gusher. It's one of the things she does best and it emphasizes her lovely face.

#18 POPEYE MEETS HERCULES

Olive swoons, but alas, it's not for Baby Boomer males growing up watching her on TV, but for Hercules.
	The creators saw to it that Olive had a pretty face as she was attracting Hercules' attention and while she was flirting with him...
...as well as when he was flirting back.
	Popeye wants to smooch a cute Olive, too!

#17 A BALMY SWAMI

Poor, Popeye!  Olive is often at her prettiest in the Famous Studios' films when he takes her to where another guy is center stage and she's appreciating the other guy's looks, talents, and "star power."
	When Bluto first sees Olive Oyl and his eyeballs act out for us the fantasy playing in his mind, the image of Olive that appears there has an appealing figure.
Of course, the flesh and blood Olive Oyl (or should that be "the ink and paint Olive Oyl?") that inspired his thoughts is attractive, too.
	Olive looks quite dreamy (pun intended) as she walks in a trance, wearing her pretty evening ensemble, toward Bluto.
Also, as she hypno-walks out of the theater.
	If this were a Fleischer cartoon, the song, "A Dream Walking" would be playing right now.
As Bluto kisses her awake, Olive's face has pleasant features.
	As she and Popeye share a laugh over Bluto's downfall, Olive seems like a cute date for The Sailorman.

#16 PRIVATE EYE POPEYE

	Olive plays the Lauren Bacall "pretty rich heiress role" to Popeye's detective in this cartoon.
The camera watches as Olive goes to get the gem.
	One of the jokes in the film is that the emerald makes the room turn green (or gray if you have a faded public domain print.)  But the artists saw to it that Olive looked good in any color.
Olive's "sad, worried, waiting" expression is appealing.
	In many of the cartoons, a feminine Olive Oyl kisses Popeye at the end.

#15 SNOW PLACE LIKE HOME

	An Olive Oyl with pleasing facial features eats three ice cream cones at once...
...before a freak hurricane/tornado deposits her at the North Pole where she becomes a frozen dessert herself.
	In several frames of the earlier scenes, before Olive gets the coat, the creators gave her bikini top more definition than the Fleischers ever would have.
While Olive's top may be getting smaller,
	...her face is getting cuter.
While Olive has a pretty face as she receives the coat, the fur's real value to the cartoon comes in later scenes.
	As she dreamily primps for her date with Pierre, the "cartoon wardrobe department"... ...made sure Olive's coat would be clingy and would accentuate her curves.
Olive's cute on the date and when she ends up in Pierre's arms.
	And as an oil-covered Popeye starts to pull her away before the kiss, her face and hair are attractive.
Cute Olive is horrified!
	As she tries to stop Pierre from dispatching Popeye and then has to flee from him...
...there's that coat doing its thing again!
