About our church and its history
From the first meetings in a local pizza shop, to our beautiful new addition at our present location on Hwy 75 in Sioux Center, the congregation of Hope Lutheran has had a wonderful growth of members, of spirit, and of blessings. Over the years, many pastors have been part of the congregation, and have always given the support that our congregation has needed. Many families and members, over 400 total, have also graced us with their presence.
We offer nursery services on Sunday mornings, and occasionally for other events. Fellowship time with members and visitors after service is a great time to start up conversations over coffee and cookies, generously provided by our “cookie brigade”. And, we often have potluck dinners, game days, as well as wonderful meals provided by our youth group.
In 2007, we welcomed Pastor Tony Metz, his wife Angie, and his son Steve to our church family. We would love the opportunity to welcome you into our church family, too!
