The Northwest Iowa Athletics Team of Doon, Iowa
The Northwest Iowa Athletics won the Class C division of the Regional men's fastpitch tourney in Sioux Falls. The Athletics went 5-0 in the toruney and beat Ramona 5-4 in the finals. Jim Faber pitched all five games. The Athletics advanced to the tournament in Sacramento California where they were 1-2 for a 33rd place finish nationally.
