Summary: This book contains over 300 recommendations categorized by type and age level. Each recommended book is accompanied by a review. The book also contains five chapters that defend and define the use of such books in the training of children.
Strengths:  This book is an invaluable resource for parents. The five chapters in the beginning of the book are especially helpful in refining and strengthening your own views.
Weaknesses: Although, in general, the books listed are excellent, the criteria that the authors used to choose them are not necessarily the same criteria used on the Worthy Books site. Some of the books recommended by these authors are not recommended here.
